Fennel Mango Lassi!

When Mango season starts and the weather is super hot, this lassi is a must to have as it carries fennel seeds which have a cooling effect on the body as it helps to relieve heat from the body.

Fennel Mango Lassi is made from Greek yogurt, milk, fennel seeds, and sweet mango pulp. It may be made with or without added sugar. Well, it’s super refreshing and good to have in hot weather while adding fennel powder to the lassi gives a different dimension to the lassi, and trust me you would love it.

Ingredients:

Ripe Mango - 1 cup finely chopped
Greek Yogurt - 1 cup or any plain yogurt (not sour)
Milk - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 4 to 5 tablespoons to taste
Roasted Fennel Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cardamon powder - 1 teaspoon
Whole Roasted Fennel Seeds - 1/2 teaspoon for garnishing
Saffron for garnishing (optional)

Instructions/Method:

1. Blend all the ingredients in a blender to make a smooth paste.
2. Serve in a glass with ice cubes and garnish with fennel seeds and saffron strands.

Notes:

- For kids (over 1-year-old), I usually use honey instead of sugar.
- Add sugar to taste, if the mango pulp is super sweet.
